Warranty
What's covered
For one year from the date of purchase, your DegenDesigns product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Covered
- Manufacturing defects in components or PCBs
- Faulty soldering or assembly errors from our side
- Components that fail under normal operating conditions
- Firmware issues caused by our software
Not covered
- Physical damage from impacts, drops, or water
- Damage from incorrect power supply or accessories
- Modifications or unauthorised repairs
- Exposure to fire or extreme temperatures
- Normal wear on consumables (batteries, coatings)
- Loss or theft
What we'll do about it
If a valid defect is confirmed within the warranty period, we'll resolve it at our discretion by doing one of the following — and we'll pick whatever gets you back up and running fastest:
- Repair the product using new or refurbished parts.
- Replace it with an equivalent new or refurbished product.
- Refund the original purchase price.
Limitations
- This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and cannot be transferred.
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required for all claims.
- Repaired or replaced products may contain refurbished parts.
- Whether a repair or replacement extends the original warranty period is reviewed case by case.
Good-faith policy
We run this warranty on trust. We don't make you jump through hoops, and we don't assume you're trying to pull one over on us — because the vast majority of people aren't.
In return, we ask the same. If we identify a pattern of excessive or clearly unjustified claims from the same customer, we reserve the right to decline further warranty service on a case-by-case basis, after review. This isn't a clause we expect to ever use — it's just there so bad actors can't exploit the system at the expense of everyone else.
How to make a claim
Get in touch
Email us at [email protected] with:
- A clear description of the issue.
- Photos or a short video showing the problem.
- Your order number or receipt as proof of purchase.
Wait for confirmation
We'll review your claim and get back to you. If it's approved, we'll send you a return shipping address. Don't ship anything until you've heard from us.
Ship it back
Send the product to the address we provide. Pack it carefully — return shipping costs are on you, but we'll cover shipping for whatever comes back your way.
We sort it out
We'll repair, replace, or refund — whichever makes most sense — and get it back to you.
Changes to this warranty
We reserve the right to update this warranty at any time. Changes apply only to products purchased after the updated date shown at the top of this page. Products bought before a change remain covered under the warranty terms that were in effect at the time of purchase.
